Berry Christmas

I went in search of Waxwings again today - this time locally, but again without any luck. They had been reported, and were seen briefly before I arrived, but the strong winds had moved them on. It didn't seem to put off even more Redwings. which as well as being plentiful still high in trees around our local area, were feeding at the Waxwing site. It was only the brief appearance of this Bullfinch that stopped yet another Redwing blip.
