In the dark of the night

I hope you've all had an enjoyable Christmas. We've  had a nice relaxed day.
We had planned to go for a walk after Lunch but by the time we got round to making a move it was dark. We decided to still go for one , so we headed through a very deserted town and ended up at the Brayford.
I decided it looked very effective as all the buildings and university didn't have any lights on so apart from the building site and the hotel which you cant see.I was happy with the outcome of this shot as it was handheld just resting on the railings
