Celebrating!

It's hard work celebrating the birth of our Saviour!
We actually had a very laid back day - up when we woke up, breakfast, opened presents, headed to mum's, made lunch (all courtesy of M&S - popped in the oven at appropriate times - delish!), Skyped with family in France and Edinburgh and friends in Kirkie, more opening of presents, relax, popped in to the care home where dad was until his death almost 3 years ago to say hello to the amazing staff. drive home.
It's been a relaxing day. I have spent time thinking about those who have spent today living in fear of violence - domestic, racial, war; those living in poverty - in this country and overseas. It can be different, I've been very challenged recently about how to make a difference.
