Welcome Home Kisses

It was my intention to Blip our family Christmas Winter Wonderland, which I organised as a surprise for my Mum.
It was a resounding success but I completely forgot to take any photos!!
I hired the village hall and filled it with Christmas trees decked in lights. To make it more intimate, I put the dining tables under a gazebo, also decked in lights and lanterns.
In the corner of the room, I made a grotto with an imitation fireplace that I'd procured from a Joules window display, a tree, reindeer and decorations. All the presents were in the grotto and the children were entertained before lunch, at the other end of the room by a small bouncy castle with slide and ballpit. This was hidden from view but the squeals from the children and the noise of the fan was sadly not as discreet!
Cooking a huge lunch in a strange kitchen for lots of folk, was a challenge but it all came together in the end and as a complete surprise, my brother turned up just as we were serving up. Another place was quickly set and he then got roped into dismantling the whole thing in the evening.....there's no such thing as a free lunch :)

Well I hope that you've all had a wonderful day, whatever you were doing.
As a bit of an emergency Blip, here is Fionne giving Mr E a welcome home kiss. The dogs missed us I think but they had their presents when we got back.
