Posers

Spotted these three geese - one Canada goose and two white ones - posing prettily on the West Bay shore in Dunoon this afternoon. The Canada Goose is obviously admiring its reflection in the still, deep pool formed by the burn that comes down Morag's Fairy Glen. I loved the contrast between the deep blue of the pool and the greyer turbulence of sea and sky beyond.

By the time we left, all the rest of the geese - already on the move in this photo - were standing at the edge of the pool clamouring for something. People feed them there, but we only had dog treats ...
