Charlie for the holidays

We spent the first night of Hanukkah, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with my youngest daughter Sarah and Charlie, my grand-doggie, who you've met before.  We enjoyed good food, good games and we went to see the movie Arrival. Doug and I liked it and Sarah did too, but with a reaction of "C'mon!" for its out there premise.  But I really liked it a lot and was happy to suspend disbelief in this case. We've done that for many other science fiction films, right?  Charlie's favorite thing is to look out the window, when he's not destroying his dog toys.  Life is good!
