Frozen Fence

Today was spent driving about 300 miles up the Columbia Gorge back home. We decided to go a day early to miss a projected winter storm, which is indeed sleeting the area as I type. We made it in fine time. I stopped a couple times along the way but this is the only shot that really turned out.

Near where we turn off to the north the fog was freezing onto trees and fences in quite a fantastic fashion. I could not get a shot of the white trees against the white sky without he rather unattractive rest rooms. I hope this shot conveys a small sense of the bleakness of the terrain.
