Canoeist

Today Simon took us to view the Great Falls on the Potomac River about half an hour from Washington DC. We enjoyed a lovely walk in fresh air - grey day again and no sunshine - and at these falls saw a canoeist 'playing' on the water. He did these rapids four or five times whilst we were watching! The extra shows the  Patowmack  Canal that runs alongside the river looking very tranquil.
