Thing

Mario & I went to Christchurch today to get me a new tripod for my camera. I got a good one for a good price, so I was pleased.

The traffic on the trip to Christchurch was insane! It was almost bumper-to-bumper cars heading south, just out of Ashburton, all the way to Christchurch. The city itself wasn't very busy, I guess a lot of folks are heading away on their holidays.

This huge hand sculpture sits atop the Christchurch Art Gallery, and it reminds me of Thing from The Addams Family (I think it's actual name is Quasi).
