A walk on the River Lee

A big fat frost this morning so we waited in until it had warmed up to 5°C and then coat and gloves on we headed out for some fresh air. The river Lee runs through parts of East London, past the Olympic Park and eventually out into the Thames, it has towpaths that make it popular for us city folk to take walks on. Around near Walthamstow marshes there is quite a lot of bird life; l thought this swan looked very handsome, the water looks very black and it is surprising that he is so white but makes a good contrast l thought.
