Mount Pond: Goosles in the Frost
Chillier toes in large.
The Goosles were on Mount Pond again; we didn't see them when we arrived, so walked around the pond, startling the heron into flight (see series from take-off to landing, right from here), and I photographed the frosty leaves (right from here) as the sunlight started to catch them and began the thaw... We spotted the Goosles from the far side of the pond, and they came ashore at the edge by the boardwalk; I enjoyed photographing them on the striped frosting in the bright sunlight (Goosles right from here)! I've put up my favourites as extras...
My other shots are on Flickr (right from here).
