The window on NE Couch St. of Stark's Vacuums, they have a vacuum cleaner museum on this side of the store.  The reflection in the glass of the new apartments that are now dominating this section of the inner Eastside near the Burnside Bridge.  Hope Stark's hangs on in this spot.  

This neighborhood is also home to large numbers of people surviving on the streets, tents and tarps their only shelter.
