Back to my roots ...

.. as is my wont these holidays have been a mixture of catching up with family and friends, family treeing and walking .. today I have managed all three .. some early morning ancestor sleuthing, followed by a brisk walk along canal and a visit from sister-in-law & two nieces (from Sweden), step- daughter (back from the States where she is doing a masters in NYC) and daughter (from her flat a mile or so away). Now back up in Pitlochry awaiting my dad and M to join us for supper.
