On the fourth day of Christmas...

My true love gave to me,
Four chinking glasses,
Three Russian Santas,
Two sparring Mummers,
And a Robin in a Japonica tree!

Courtesy of my brother, we all went out for lunch to a very nice Michelin star gastropub today, deep in the rolling hills of Somerset. After so much rich eating recently, I let the family down by opting for a simple salad, though I did also manage to get through nearly a whole loaf of homemade sourdough bread, slathered in lashings of homemade salty butter! Oh, and a glass of Champagne!!
