On today's walk

This is described as a "beautiful age exclusive development". Mm. Overlooking a park here, but on the far side a car park/lorry park/bus station. No wonder people seek out retirement homes in India and other warmer climes. It was fun to watch Miriam Margolyes and co telling it like it is on TV last night. On Friday they're visiting old age places in Japan.

Meanwhile I haven't read anything from my heap this week, but since Boxing Day I have read Engleby by Sebastian Faulkes and The Gustav Sonata by Rose Tremain. 7/10 for each of those. Next up, The Glorious Heresies by Lisa McInerney.
