Variation on a recurring theme....

from this holiday! Same place, at the table in the kitchen, same time of day, one child same as yesterday's blip, one different. That's because the other one and her brother were with her Gramps for the day. And an hour or so later we were on our own, in a very quiet house adjusting back to the normal post-holiday routine. The telly was still in holiday mode though. Did you see the brilliant moving cartoon celebrating the lives of Raymond Briggs' parents, Ethel and Ernest? It was excellent.
