Celtic Wall

Another archaeological expedition to explore the south German celtic heritage. Today we visited the oppidum near Finsterloh, a major celtic fortified town. The earth structures are still very impressive. During the early 20th century the gateway was dug and part of the wall restored. I really wonder what the place was like. The weather was great, blue sky and crisp.
