A Collector of Oddities

By MinBannister

Great tit

Parus major

We went to Loch Leven today for some birdwatching and saw 30 different species which was pretty cool. Including a Little Egret, my second sighting within a few months. Most of them were too far away for decent photographs though.

There is a very impressive array of ducks there. We saw Wigeon, Mallard, Tufted, Teal, Gadwall (I think) Shoveler, Pochard, Goldeneye and Goosander. PLus both Whooper and Mute Swans.
