Hallmarks

This is my silver christening cup, well actually it's a close up of the hallmarks on it. I've been back at work today, but in the evening I've been having more fun with my family history and this cup came back from my father's as evidence of my christening. The hallmarks are more interesting than the cursive writing on the front, and mean:

BESCo is Barker, Ellis Silver Co. (actually this is the first year this mark was used)
The anchor means Birmingham
The Lion means Sterling or 92.5% silver
The T in that font and shaped border for Birmingham means 1968-1969 - which means this sat in a shop for a year or so before being used.
