For Travelers ...When To Say No

My visitor arrived in the early hours today , even though their flight had got in on time to the ever ghastly SXL . Having collected keys for a hire car off they went to get it . A man by a car seemed to be in difficulties and asked if X could assist with the car. THEY DID and within under a minute a second man had taken X's bag and both were off like rats .( Insult to the animal actually ) STOLEN:) clothing , camera , ipad , toiletries and yes my present ( least of the worries ) SXL  said it would be ages to get the police. Today began with it all being reported here in Charlottenburg .Then off to buy clothes etc  No new camera or ipad .
One can still be a Samaritan by offering to get official help and make as if if to go .The chances are the vermin will run .That's as much as help as it's safe to give .CCTV is not used much here so the good are easy victims .
