Catch a falling star

This evening I gave myself the challenge of taking a picture of some stars in a dome. Simple you might think. Think again. I have discovered it requires the patience of a saint, similar to when you are trying to capture a busy bee dancing over the flowers or a daffodil swaying gently in the wind.

This is what I have learned this evening:-

1. You can't use your flash because it will reflect off the dome.
2. Your camera will struggle without the flash on to decide what to focus on.
3. You need to be mindful of what's behind the dome because you can see it in the background.
4. You may take 85 pictures of the dome and only come away with 3 pictures that are both in focus and look interesting.
5. You will never attempt this again.

So, here it is! Enjoy! Particularly the stars that are actually in focus!
