This is Lido Beach

Got into JFK, not sleeping but it was a smooth nonstop flight, then took the airtrain to the Long Island RR and got a train to Long Beach where my mom picked me up. After sleeping for a few hours, we went down to the beach. The water was wonderfully warm. My visit coincided with a visit of a childhood friend from down the block and we had great fun remembering the good old days.
