Whoosh!

Whoosh! One more wave flies terrifically high,
crashing with force to collide with the sky.

After packing cases (us: to move to the apart-hotel; daur and son-in-law: to return to Blighty), we left our luggage at the hotel and went for a walk to the old part of the city. We emerged at the poncha bar, which overlooks the sea. Thence, back to collect our cases via a leisurely lunch at Espacho without needing to clockwatch.

They and the rest of the family will be at the airport now, almost ready for take off*, while we fight sleepiness in the setting sunlight. (*Wrote too soon: just learned their flight's delayed by 3 hours - owing to weather conditions - when it left the UK late, delayed by fog - and our poor daur-in-law has to be at work at 8.30 tomorrow morning!) It will hardly be worth her while going to bed! :-(

(More waves, and my glass of poncha, are Extras.)
