Coniston Water Western Shore

There was a lot of low cloud today so we opted for a lower level walk which encompassed Blawith and Torver commons and a stretch of the Cumbrian Way along the western shore of Coniston Water. The image was taken looking south. The commons whilst not high have a very wild and remote feel to them and we had them all to our selves today - if you exclude the sheep that is. Also managed a brief glimpse of a roe deer.
