Rural North West Colorado

The Elk River Valley is home to a thriving agricultural scene.  The home in the distance was the home  Margret Duncan Brown, who diary's  the Book Shepherdess of the Elk River Valley was compiled from.  It covers her life of ranching alone for 47 years starting in 1918.  It was a great read in my late teens
