Not just any old buffet......

My lovely hubbie bought me a macro lens for Xmas. Last night we had friends round tea, one of whom is a very good photographer. She set me the task of making one of the seafood shells that we had my blip for today, so I saved one. I am learning that photography is like a very fine balancing act, a tweek here, a tweek there and you might get it right. I've never used a macro lens before, the image is not as sharp as I would like, but I had to use a slowshutter speed so I didn't need the flash, which made the colours all wrong.
I think I may have to read up about it and practise, practise, practise.
