A thoughtful gift

I always describe Blipfoto as like a photographic facebook but without any of the rubbish and nastiness! The friends you make on Blipfoto really are amazing borne out by the fact that this morning the lapel badge and card in todays blip came through our letterbox.
HilaryinOman knows my love of the Middle East and Oman in particular and this year is the 46th anniversary of Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said taking over the throne of Oman.
Sultan Qaboos is the longest serving monarch in the Middle East and most certainly the most popular, not only by his own Omani subjects but by all around the world.
Thank you Hilary for thinking of me, it's wonderful.
