Oak tree at dusk, with Venus and a sliver of the Moon in the background sky.

Only slightly better than the alternative shot - huge, and dangerous, pot of soup made this afternoon, with: a kilo of sprouts; a couple of extra-hot pickled chillies; and some other odds and ends.

Plans for this year? Nothing of significance: read more printed material, as in, books; read less on-line stuff; eat fewer biscuits! Off to a good start, with none in the house (the oatcakes don't count)... but that's only because a load of them were polished off last week.

Blip-wise, may try only using prime lenses with 35 to 45mm (or the 35mm film angle of view equivalent of that) for their focal length, for the majority of the year's Blips - reckon I might be able to use something different for each month, though that will require some long absences during several film only months. Also depends on that ancient Olympus Trip camera working. This month, a 40mm equivalent lens, the little Panasonic 20mm f/1.7. After the past month of only using a fisheye lens, a normal angle of view is a welcome return!
