Gone to Seed

There is a kind of lettuce in the garden that has gone to seed and has these lovely pale blue flowers.

While having a potter in the lunchtime sunshine (before it was replaced by torrential rain) I discovered that the flowers were an insect magnet.

Thankfully this one stayed still long enough for me to blip it.
