Welcome to the Mandalay Palace

I thought this was a classic Burmese military welcome to foreign tourists visiting the Mandalay Palace.

The image is a bit grainy as I used the zoom on my iPhone app. All done surreptitiously so as to not to raise the ire of the on-looking soldiers!
