Mount Tabor

New Year's Day

I was so happy to wake up this morning to see that the forecast snow had not materialized.  Cold, but bright and clear.

We worked hard all day but just after 4 p.m. we called it quits and agreed that it was time to get away from the house.  It was decided that it had been too long since we took a brisk walk up Mount Tabor, with the sun starting to set we headed over here.  Others had the same idea and there were many enjoying the view (in the extra) in the last light of the first day of the year.

The little Pomeranian was hilarious.  Its people were those with the skateboards.  We watched the four of them head down the hill, the Pom's little legs somehow managing to keep up with the speed of the skateboards, it was pretty funny to watch the fluff ball moving at such a clip.

35ºF/1.6ºC
