Strait up

Day 2 of my challenge and I've failed already in my quest to post something I shot that day, but at least I posted something!
This image was taken on 30 December at Houghton Bay on the rugged south coast of Wellington looking across the Cook Strait to the South Island of New Zealand. 
The mountains in the distance are part of the Kaikoura Ranges, the region suffered a magnitude 7.8 earthquake on 14 November which has severely affected the tourist town of Kaikoura. Going to take a long time for the region to recover and they need all the support they can get.
