Elephant Hawk Moth Caterpillar

Whilst wandering around I stumbled on this fellow today. I have only seen one once before, again in Shropshire but on that occasion at the wonderful Whixall Moss. I am sure there are larger but it is certainly one of the biggest caterpillars I have seen in the UK and definitely one of the most intricate!
