Absinthe and a celestial event.

The perfect Christmas present. My friends know that I have been meaning to partake of Absinthe for many a year, but never have. So, it was with great pleasure and anticipation that I found this bar of delights in my Christmas stocking.  Much to my amazement, as we head into 2017 I still have two pieces left to enjoy and I have neither gone mad nor cut off my ear!

Meanwhile Mars and the Moon are in perfect alignment. That must surely be a portent of interesting times to come?  Now, what was it that Nostradamus had to say about Mars in the jaws of the Moon, the rise of a golden-maned one in the West and the resurgence of the bear in the East?
