All Quiet On The Wagon, Front

The front wagon (and sometimes others as well) of all city trains are quiet zones. No mobiles, talking or loud eating - there is quite often a queue to get in during rush hour. Not sure I've seen this on UK transport and I'm fairly sure it would be impossible on American transport but let me know.
In fact the most noise usually comes from the single driver; chatting on his phone or listening to the radio. This driver seems a bit more considerate than most.

We have single driver trains and driverless trains. We also have powerful and respected unions. I never heard a word of the luddite rhetoric currently being spewed by some in the UK.
