Today we headed into Aberdeen with the intention of picking up mum on the way home. Try as we might, we couldn't get hold of her on the mobile.

Eventually we learned she had headed out some hours ago to visit us, sans mobile and bank card.

When we arrived home she had been and gone having left us a present - the 3D Advent Calendar in the blip.

Back at the care home she turned up hours later, but only after I'd been fretting for some time.
