Explosion

There is much livestock about here.  Where there is livestock, there is muck.  Piles of it.  Within these piles, there is the heat of rotting muck.  At various times of the year, these piles are raided and their contents spread over the soil.  Cold days are good - the soil is crusty and the mud generated by the process is limited.  The smell doesn't seem so bad either.

And the grass will be greener.
