Whizzing by

A cold but beautiful sunny day today so we went for a walk near Newtown, Powys which took us along the River Severn and the Montgomery Canal. 

On the way back we stopped at Coed Y Dinas Nature Reserve at Welshpool where I saw this kingfisher whizzing by. Most of the water was frozen so it must have had a difficult job finding fish. I know that it's a blurred shot but was happy to have a record.
