The Beacon.

My goodness, it is absolutely freezing out there tonight. Mr and Mrs Met Office are not telling any fibs when they say it feels like -5 degrees!! However, the day has been crisp and sunny - no complaints on that score, again. :-) 

Making the most of seeing the light before returning to school tomorrow and therefore dark blips :-P It is particularly tricky for blips this half term, I always find, with a lack of light and a lack of Christmas lights! It always seems so dark on the streets initially too. Funny how we just adjust and get use to it, it seems bright to see the lights up at first and then dark afterwards...ah life! :-P 

A trip to Skipton today and a lovely walk on the moors, taking in the Beacon, around Farnhill and Kildwick. The sun went down as the stroll came to an end, almost timed to perfection! :-) 

Stay cosy tonight! My 2017 has already been made...Silent Witness returns at 9pm! :-D
