Frost at Silchester

We headed out early to go for a walk around the old roman city of Silchester. There's really only the walls left but it is an interesting site. The frost had transformed the landscape and it was beautiful in the bright sunshine. Some of the fences were steaming in the sunlight and it was almost raining under the trees as the frost melted.
