Looking over Bannockburn to the Ochils....

Today was a beautiful, bright and cold. We had a quick trip to Glasgow in the morning to catch up with friends from Perth WA, then back to Bannockburn in the afternoon. I was so taken with the light on the hills today I asked for a blip stop on the way to see mum. She has been sleeping for most of the day, exhausted after yesterday's shenanigans so we fitted in a wee visit to Jimmy as he'd not managed to join us for lunch yesterday. Now relaxing in front of Margaret's coal fire. A fine way to spend the second day of 2017.
