2016...A CHANCE....

Last year I recorded my chances each day....
To support eldest son & fiancee set up home and to be involved in wedding plans.
To watch & follow (care of Skype) my youngest's adventure in Greece and his girlfriend getting her citizenship.
To welcome our lovely puppy Daisy.
To have sofa time with The Rev and manage several early nights.
To have several chatty lunches and afternoon teas with The Rev, Mum, present and old colleagues, Uni friends from 30 years ago, church friends and the "Ladies Wot Lunch" pair!! A couple of posh dinners and a theatre trip with the tennis girls.
To be part of surprise visits from and for the boys.
To have time to walk alone and with company in a variety of weathers...checked on by my Fitbit. Even a walk up a volcano!!
To be amazed at Gods creation and plant 100 bulbs.
To read and bake and spiralise!
To ski, to sail, to chill in a beach hut, spend a night in a Romany caravan and several in ours.
To go bowling, solve a murder (on a weekend),play water polo, have a Turkish bath and ride a horse.
To have allotment and garden time in the sun and with a burning chiminea!
To be amazed by the achievements of the olympians and para olympians.
To appreciate the fellowship of my church family all year but especially on our first weekend away.
To organise paperwork.
To appreciate that teaching (in our new school building)can be stressful, inspirational with children achievements, exciting with beach trips and fun with the great staff.
To comfort and support bereaved friends (even a blipper friend.).
To have a few blipmeets; even a new one.
To celebrate church Youth's weddings and to witness a friend's ( and make the bouquets)
To visit France, Belgium, Austria,Greece (especially at Easter) & Lanzarote with the girls.
To nearly see the sunset at Sunion.
To sing with my school choir and in a hot
tub with a glass of bubbly.
To realise perseverance can pay off.
To be spontaneous, to faff, to be lazy and laugh until my sides ache surrounded by family and friends
.

Sorry it was soooo long!!

wow...I hope 2017 offers me as many fabulous chances and that I continue to grab each one with appreciation.
