Very and More Very

A very long, very winding drive down a very muddy, unpaved road on a very cloudy day.
I had a 60lb, unhappy dog on my lap the entire, bumpy drive.
We both were car sick by the end and I started to dread the ride back before I even stepped out of the vehicle.
And then I saw the view... bleak but so very compelling.

At the first crack of thunder we started the drive back with fingers crossed that we wouldn't be stopped by water running in the washes we crossed.
The view was riveting but was it worth it?
