I don’t know what this tiny insect is - I recently watched a raft of tiny black eggs hatch on a swan plant leaf and popped leaf and insects in a caterpillar castle to watch their development.
I suspect it will be an unwanted pest in the garden!

A mainly wet day with gentle rain falling until late afternoon then blue sky and sunshine. Not ideal for the many tourists visiting our area, but very welcome for the garden.
