snakes & ladders

A day in the garden today before it started to rain in the afternoon.
The other day with Flopsy we went into a very nice charity shop, bought a few bargains - clothes & objet d'art then we spotted this bag with a label saying "Unfinished project" on it.

It turned out to be a snakes & ladders tapestry rug there was so much work gone into it & we wondered why it hadn't been finished and reckoned there must be a sad story attached to it (we have vivid imaginations) so we had to buy it & between us we plan to finish it.

Time will tell.
