Clouds over Deerness

I went out to Deerness looking for migrant birds. Not many about but I did watch about fifteen swallows mob a kestrel then turn their attentions to a passing hen harrier. Great and arctic skuas still about too...I watched one arctic harry a young kittiwake. It's a tough life, kitty!
