i love all beauteous things...

...and the V&A is full of them.

This was the nicest thing I saw today - a beautiful purple velvet cloak, hand-embroidered with sprays of sweet cicely, made in England around 1900. You can see the whole cloak here.

I also went to see the new Winton Gallery of mathematics at the Science Museum (see extra), designed by Zaha Hadid Architects.

Spending time with my brother and his boys, and with Luke. Going out to shoot some pool and eat pub grub :-)
