Hopes and Fears

Well the footy season has begun again and tomorrow is first home game of the season. As usual I go into the season full of Hopes:
We'll win a cup
We'll finish in top half of the division
We' ll win the derby games
I get a call up to play due to injuries (sad but still think I can play football)

But also with the realistic fears that we win nothing and another disappointing season.
To be fair this is one of the joys of football you can just never tell what will happen, although I don't think I will be asked to play.
