Praying

I took my mum to see the oncology nurse today, for the results of the operation.
The tumour removal was successful and only one of the sixteen lymph nodes removed, was cancerous. This will mean an appointment with the oncologist in two weeks time, to discuss chemo options.

We said, at the beginning of this journey, that we would take it one step at a time, rather than trying to deal with the whole thing at once. Today was a huge step in the right direction.
