The Lundy Eye

Just in case you forget

The book title is accurate, Scots really did invent most things. And when we weren't inventing, we were discovering.
Penicilin, the bicycle, television, the telephone, the fountain pen, tarmac, radar, the steam engine, insulin, the postage stamp, the teleprinter, logarithms and colour photograhy - a few to whet the appetite.
The remark about Jesus McChrist on the cover stemmed from a visit by Katie and Rex from Arizona. They said they wanted good weather and I told them not to worry, just remember God was Scottish too and he would fix it - hence Jesus McChrist.
